Grant dumps out his Christmas Stocking for a thorough review.

It was hard to get this emergency radio away from Grant to put into the disaster kit.  True to form, since this was a) not for him, and b) not a toy, Grant loved it. He has been watching the old “Year without a Santa Claus” video (the one with the Heat Miser). There is a part of the video where the elves are talking on this big phone or walkie talkie or something… In this photo, Grant is saying “Hello, Mrs. Claus?”  Later he learned that the handle turns, and spent a few hours doing that.  I told Kev that if there is a need for the radio, Grant’s job is already decided!

This toy was a big favorite. The soccer ball is attached to an elastic cord, which is attached to a belt. Grant loves to play with it, though a lot of the time he just likes to pull the ball through the house with the cord to see it ricochet around corners and furniture!

Hello, Kit!
